Netball: Teachers, Breakers, Blue Flames Win
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League Season continued on Tuesday evening [June 25] at the Bernard Park, with a triple header.
The Teachers defeated HSBC 28 – 15, Debbie Deshields scored 21 goals to lead the Teachers to victory, while Tanika White added 5 goals and Resheema Swan scored twice. Demiqua Daniels scored 7 goals for HSBC, while Lavonne Brown added 5 goals and Euva-Lynn Baxter scored three times.
Darrika Simons and Kirstin Saltus both scored 13 goals to lead the Breakers to a 26 – 4 win over BMA, Precious Smith scored 3 goals for the Breakers and Ruby James scored once.
The Blue Flames Police defeated PHC 29 – 20, Stacey O’Brien scored 21 goals for the Blue Flames Police, while Latisha Rogers 8 goals, Vernicka Symonds scored 10 goals for PHC, Jennifer Simmons added 9 goals and Marley Simons scored once.
