Photos: Highland Dancers At City Hall
This afternoon [June 14] saw members of various visiting Highland Dance groups show off their dancing skills in front of onlookers at City Hall in Hamilton.
All of the visiting Highland Games performers were welcomed by Hamilton Mayor Graeme Outerbridge, and among the performers were the Schiehallion Dancers from Ontario as well as the MacKenzie Dancers from Hailifax, Nova Scotia.
Tonight features a Pre-Highland Games Ceilidh at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess featuring a cameo performance by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pipe Band. The Ceilidh will start immediately after Happy Hour in the Ball Room featuring the New Dewar’s Highlander Honey.
The main Highland Games kick off tomorrow Saturday the 15th, at Saltus School field at 2.30pm.
