Video: Youth Football Team Head Overseas
Yesterday [June 27] over 40 youth football players from the Hamilton Parish Youth Soccer Program [HPYSP] departed Bermuda to participate in the AC Milan Florida Cup in Orlando, Florida. The tournament begins today, and ends on Sunday.
Two of the teams traveling to Orlando were the 2013 Kappa Classic Champions [U8 coached by Corey Hill and U14 coached by Phillip Burgess Technical Director at HPYSP]. Other coaches traveling are Kevin Simpson and Alfred Hardtman.
“We are looking to bring back some silverware not only for ourselves, but our country and families,” said the Coach. “This is a great opportunity for the kids, and hopefully they can represent themselves well.”
