Weekend Arrests: 22 For Warrants, Drunk Driving

Over this past weekend [June 1/2], police officers arrested nine people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme [STEP] continues.

One of the persons arrested was a 56-year-old Pembroke man who crashed a car into a wall by TCD on Saturday [June 1] afternoon.

“Officers also arrested 13 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island,” a police spokesperson said.
