CableVision Service Interruption: July 3rd 1-3am

July 1, 2013

Bermuda CableVision will be performing upgrades to its main power supply and is alerting customers to the necessity of a temporary service interruption, to take place from 1am – 3am on the morning of Wednesday, July 3rd. Both television and Internet services will be unavailable during those two hours.

Terry Roberson, CableVision’s General Manager, says: “We apologise for any inconvenience to our valued television and Internet subscribers. We have planned this two-hour service interruption to occur during late-night hours so as to minimise its impact on service; however it is necessary in order for us to make this significant upgrade to our power supply. We ask customers to kindly bear with us during this brief interruption, and thank them for their understanding.”

Thanks for the warning, but by my calculations you have nothing to watch in prime time I doubt your interruption will cause any concern, IPTV is coming and it looks like cable vision will go the way of the prehistoric animals
