Man In ICU Following Motorcycle Collision

A 25 year old Pembroke man is in the Intensive Care Unit following a motorcycle collision last night [July 23] in Paget.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:45pm on Tuesday, July 23 police and first responders were dispatched to a reported serious collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Salt Kettle Road.

“Details regarding how the collision occurred are unclear; however initial information suggests that two motorcycles were being ridden along Harbour Road when they collided.

“The riders, a 25 year old Pembroke man and a 21 year old Southampton woman respectively, were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“At last check the Pembroke man was in the Intensive Care Unit and the Southampton woman had been discharged from the hospital. There were no other injuries reported; however both motorcycles were damaged.”
