Photos: Big Game Classic Cocktail Reception
Scores of people turned out for the Bermuda Big Game Classic prize giving ceremony held on Sunday [July 14] at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Tournament sponsor Bacardi held a cocktail reception prior to the prize giving ceremony with Philip Troake – Office Manager, Bacardi International Limited – taking groups throughout the property on tours.
The Bermuda Big Game Classic is a three-day, big-fish team event with top-team honours going to the team that tallies the most points during the tournament. Now in its 12th year, the Bermuda Big Game Classic is part of the Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championship.
Martin Estis on board Capt. Andrew Dias’ “Triple Play”, had the big catch of the day on Thursday [July 11], with the marlin weighing in at 856lbs. The boat’s crew included Captain Andrew Dias, Mate Martin Estis, Clark Bottner, David Campbell, Morgan Outerbridge and Sloan Wakefield.
