Arantxa King Competes In World Championships
The first day of competition of the 14th IAAF World Championships got underway at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia.
One of the two Bermuda athletes taking part competed on the first day, with Arantxa King finishing 11th in Group 2 and 23rd overall in the Women’s Long Jump. King recorded a foul on her first attempt before leaping 6.36m on her second attempt. King then recorded a foul on her third and final attempt.
