Bacardi TriRock Triathlon Series In November
The TriRock Triathlon Series presented by REI is inviting participants to come for the race but stay for the “Bacardi After Party” at the newly added Bacardi TriRock Bermuda Triathlon on Sunday, November 3. Formerly SheROX Triathlon, this year’s race will be co-ed, but will also feature a women’s only wave and transition area.
“On behalf of the Bermuda Department of Tourism, we are very excited to be a lead sponsor of the inaugural Bacardi TriRock Bermuda Triathlon,” said Billy Griffith, Director of Tourism. “We welcome all of our overseas visitors to our shores. With direct flights averaging less than two hours from the east coast and Toronto, Bermuda is the perfect place to train, compete or simply relax.”
The race begins on Sunday morning with a swim in the waters of the protected cove of East Whale Bay at the Fairmont Southampton’s Beach Club. The bike and run courses along South Road provide one of the most scenic sprint triathlon courses in the sport with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Race weekend caps off on Sunday evening with the “Bacardi After Party” at the Bacardi worldwide headquarters building on Pitts Bay Road. All legal drinking age participants will receive a finisher’s medal, technical t-shirt, red carpet finish, post-race breakfast and access to a post-race concert.

Bacardi TriRock Bermuda is the first international race in the TriRock Triathlon Series presented by REI, and joins as the eighth race in the Series. The TriRock Series is part of Competitor Group’s larger triathlon platform which features a world-class triathlon series, the world’s #1 triathlon website and the world’s #1 and #2 triathlon magazines—Triathlete and Inside Triathlon.
