BFF To Host First International Futsal Camp
The Bermuda Futsal Federation [BFF] announced that it will be holding its first International Futsal Camp for players aged 5 to 18 from August 28 to September 1, 2013 at the Dellwood Middle School Gym.
International coaches Thadeu Goncalves, President of BFUT-Instituto Brasileiro De Futebol, Keith Tozer, Head Coach U.S. Futsal National Team and David Bascome, MBE, Assistant Coach Baltimore Blast will be conducting the Camp and exposing participants to the exciting game of futsal.
Futsal has been credited by some of the world’s elite players as providing the foundation for developing their skills at youth level. Additionally, more and more coaches and academies are recognizing the tremendous development opportunities that futsal provides for players and are incorporating futsal as a major part of their coaching programmes.
Interested persons can register at Capital G Bank [Reid Street entrance] on 26 and 27 August, 2013 from 12 noon to 2 pm each day or via the BFF’s email at bdafutsal@yahoo.com. Registration deadline is 27 August, 2013 and forms are available at select Hamilton sports stores and the Bermuda Football Association [“BFA”]. Completed forms with payment [cheques payable to the Bermuda Futsal Federation] should be submitted either at registration or at the BFA office. Late registration will be available on the morning of 28 August, 2013 at Dellwood Middle School.
