Chae ‘Eggs’ Simmons Football Tournament
The Chae ‘Eggs’ Simmons 2nd Annual Football tournament will kick off at 12pm on Saturday, 24th August at the St. George’s Cricket Club.
A spokesperson said,”It has been a year since Chae’s untimely passing and we miss him every day. We would first like to thank all who participated in last year’s football tournament.
“It was such a fun and successful occasion, we have decided to make this an annual event, and we are looking to attract all age groups this year. Pee Wee teams and up. Female teams are welcomed also.”
This is so cool. Happy to see this. I grew up around Chae. Chae was always a nice, polite – well-mannered little guy growing up. Good people. I can imagine how sorely he must be missed by those closest to him. May these tournaments help bring good memories and annual closure/acceptance of his most untimely and most sad passing. Rest well man!
