Reggie Lambe & Toronto Draw With DC United
Bermudian Reggie Lambe and his Toronto Football Club teammates played to a 1 – 1 draw with DC United in Washington on Saturday [Aug 24].
D.C. United captain Dwayne De Rosario scored in the 10th minute, and Toronto FC’s Bobby Convey scored a second-half equalizer in the 60th minute after Reggie Lambe sent a strong cross into the box that found Convey.
A report from CTV News said, “Reggie Lambe spent most of Saturday night delivering pinpoint passes to his Toronto FC teammates, only to see those efforts squandered.”
The two Major League Soccer teams ended in a 1-1 draw, and Lambe and Toronto will next take on New England at the BMO Field on Friday.
