Bermuda Netball Team Travelling To Scotland
The Bermuda U21 netball team had their last warm-up game on Wednesday night [Aug 14] in preparation for their upcoming trip to Scotland.
“Bermuda will be going into the 7th World Youth Netball Championships with a healthy and fit team with no reported injuries”, a spokesperson said.
“Most players are new to international tournaments but all are extremely excited. Coaches Benjamin and Mouchette who are no strangers to international competition have readied them for the experience. There is no doubt they will represent Bermuda to a high standard”.

Bermuda has been drawn in Pool B against:
- New Zealand
- Trinidad & Tobago
- Northern Ireland
- Malta
Bermuda will be playing against New Zealand in their opening game at 11.00am on August 22, 2013. President of the Bermuda Netball Association, Mrs Tracey Sharrieff said she has “great confidence in the team and commends them on the total effort that they have given in the lead up to the tournament”.
