Collision In Spanish Point Causes Traffic Delays
[Updated] Commuters faced traffic delays this morning [Sept 23] in the Spanish Point area, following a collision during the morning rush hour time. Police were on scene directing traffic, and at least one damaged vehicle could be seen in the area.
Update Sept 24: A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:30am on Monday, September 23rd police officers attended a reported two car collision on Spanish Point Road in Pembroke near the junction with Clarence Dale Road.
“It appears that both cars were being driven along Spanish Point Road when they collided. The driver and passenger of one vehicle as well as the driver of the other vehicle involved all sustained minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
“Traffic was initially diverted away from the scene, causing some delays in the area. However, normal traffic flow subsequently resumed.”
