Rider Injured In Three Vehicle Collision In Paget

September 26, 2013

Around 8am on Wednesday [Sept 25] a three vehicle collision occurred on South Road in Paget near the junction with Windgap Lane.

“It appears that two cars were being driven along South Road when an auxiliary cycle being ridden along the same road collided with both vehicles,” a police spokesperson said.

“As a result the auxiliary cycle rider, an 18 year old Pembroke man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Apparently he was later discharged. There were no other injuries reported.

“Traffic traveling through the area was delayed following the collision but eventually returned to normal. Inquiries are ongoing.”
