60 Year Old In ICU After Motorcycle Collision

A 60 year old man is in the Intensive Care Unit following a collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Warwick on Sunday morning.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 7pm on Sunday, October 27th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Longford Road in Warwick.

“It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road and a motorcycle was being ridden along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction.

“The motorcycle rider, a 60 year old Warwick man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit. There were no other injuries reported.

“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Kion-Keith Wade on 295-0011.”
