October 15, 2013

Taking their talents from Broadway to New York City’s JFK airport, Bermudian Rebecca Faulkenberry, Justin Matthew Sargent, and Christina DeCicco performed several hits from their performances in the stage hit Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark in American Airlines Terminal 8 this past Friday [Oct 11], to the delight of travelers.

The three cast mates performed “Rise Above,” If the World Should End,” and “Boy Falls From the Sky,” in an effort to spread the word about the play itself – a play that is still booking after more than two hugely successful years on Broadway.

Spider-Man, Turn Off The Dark is a rock musical that features music and lyrics by Bono of U2 fame, along with The Edge, and stars Broadway favourite Justin Matthew Sargent as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Ranking as the priciest production ever to be held on Broadway, the play has enjoyed more than 1,000 showings after breaking box office records with $2.9 million in ticket sales over only nine performances during its original holiday run.
