  1. Right in front of the cameras??if they are working!!

    • Think says:

They are not I can assure you. And do you really think they worried about cameras?

    • CBA says:

They don’t care about cameras but how about putting a 24 hour police presence in the areas where violence is more likely to occur?

    • Raymond Ray says:

It’s so sad isn’t it? :-( Well, all one can wish/pray for is that he doesn’t die, and those responsible are taken before the Courts, convicted and issued a heavy sentence for,(at this time)attempted murder…
It appears that these types of crimes seem to always happen in front of people but for one reason or another no-one wants to call 911 or contact the Minister whether they be an O.B.A. or a P.L.P Minister. Solving these crime/s requires Community assistance…and yes, irregardless of how insignificant you do feel about what it is you know or have seen,it maybe the so called, “proverbial key” in solving these crime/s.

  4. Truth is killin' me... says:

Look at my island compared to ten years ago. The tears flow from my eyes. When Bermudians stay silent and let the darkness and wickedness consume, this is what you get. UNBELIEVABLE!!

    • Mr. CLEAN says:

      it’s not your Island anymore!
      the lunatics are taking over

  5. just a thought says:

Truly sad. & to think they wasted all of that money installing cameras that are right there at the scene that DON’T work! This island sickens me!

    • its not the Island its the people in the island, Bermuda will never be like how it use to be. all the love & Respect & Trust is all gone. have a blessed day. Bermuda is FINISHED.its a wrap

  6. great! says:

What even worse is if they r caught they won’t serve that much time anyway. They will get a kewl 3 months n time off for doing some goof baking in the kitchen. It’s simply sicking!

    • sonso says:

      sickening*

but you are right, and that is where the problem lies. all the guys that have been up before the judges before are not getting the appropriate time for the crime, in my opinion. so these young bies are not worried about being prosectued, as the precedence set is like you said, 3 months maximum! sickening is right!!

  7. babygirl says:

No more guns bah you have 2 use hammers. Smh

    • sonso says:

    • Cant Believe it says:

So someone is in critical condition for HEAD BASHING and all you can say is there are no more guns so use hammers.

See this is what is wrong with this place we call home to much narrow minded individuals that dont care about the people in your society. I am a person when I see wrong I tell them like it is woman, man whoever. Meaning not in a aggressive way but in a way the behind every action there is a reaction which is called consequences and they always seem to listen and from this show me alot of respect.

See as long as we keep saying oh well times have changed and keep thinking that when you pull someone aside to share a good point it is going to turn to a outrage because these kids dont care now days well Guess what you will continue to see this behavior.

Bermudians are suppose to be strong minded individuals who was brought up to respect one another give one another love one another share with one another.

What is happening now. People blogging about one another, taking photos and passing around about one another. and Once upon a time you where not able to speak a word about a person until you new the truth, because otherwise it was an offense.

Just venting it is so sad to hear bad news every other day week month year. This is not going to bring us back this is the reason as to why we are fleeing this country no matter if the other side is worse it is what you decide to do with your life once you get to the other side of the world.

Uncle Eddie will be waiting for the perps will open arms…I wanna giv you bies a big hug.

  10. swing voter says:

why are we continually shocked by these fools and B on B crime

  11. Tiger Lily says:

I hope Minister Dunkley will investigate and confirm whether the cameras were working. Did we just issue a new contract to the same company? There needs to be a preventative maintenance programme on all cameras. Too many Bermudians (government) are not protected as a consumers of some purchases. The company does a magnificent promo to get you to pay their price for their product yet their servicing is either non existent or pitiful. I wish a speedy recovering to the 18yr old and may justice be served.

  12. jaos says:

If we want change, we need to push for change. Words are nothing without action. Praying for this young man.

  13. Black Kat says:

Praying for the family and the young man.

  14. Commenter says:

what the f*** is wrong with our youth???
seriously, all I can say is what the f***?!!

  15. Tired says:

If those cameras have not been working for a while, what is the government going to do about the company that is suppose to maintain them. And this happened in almost the same place where a young man was shot not too long ago. If that was not an incentive to get the cameras fixed, then we are now beyond hope. I pray for this boy and his family.
