Caines Brothers Charity Bball Tournament
[Updated with video] The Caines Brothers will build on their recent charity haircut drive by hosting a basketball tournament on November 16th to raise money for the Family Centre.
The event will take place at CedarBridge Academy this coming Saturday [Nov 16] from 6pm until 10pm. In addition to the 3 on 3 Tournament, there will be a three point shoot out competition and a slam dunk competition.
Admission is $5 dollars, and the team entry fee is $40. There will be giveways, and food will be on sale, with all proceeds set to go to the Family Centre.
“This event is in keeping with the our philosophy of uniting the community, and creating opportunities for the best of Bermuda to be showcased,” the Caines brothers said.
Both brothers are well very known in the community, with Dwayne Caines serving as the Police Media Manager, while Wayne Caines is the CEO of Digicel Bermuda.

The Family Centre recently said, “With the increased demand for services this year due to our high rate of unemployment,it is concerning to see the number of families who are struggling to meet basic needs.
Family Centre’s work is to provide supportive counseling and parent education groups, along with healthy youth programmes to keep youth on positive paths.
