Photos: Premier’s Concert Features Local Talent
Scores of people turned out last night [Nov 23] at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium to see some of the Island’s top young performers take the stage for the Premier’s Concert.
The Premier’s Concert — first introduced in December of 1985 by then Cultural Affairs Officer Ruth Thomas — is presented by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs within the Ministry of Community Development.
The Commere and Compere for the evening were Miss Jennifer Phillips and Mr. Daren Herbert while performers included trumpeter Matthew Ross, In Motion School Of Dance, the saxophone quartet Sassy Saxes, pianist Jude Richardson, soloist Angelis Hunt, Saltus Grammar School Performing Arts Department, pianist Malik Alick, Julia Frith, Indigo Palacio, spoken word artist Tenae and United Dance Productions.
