Sandys 360 Email: “Regret The Circumstances”
Sandys 360 — whose electricity is cut off for non payment — sent out an email blast today [Nov 7], saying they regret the circumstances they are in, and did not contact everyone earlier as they “anticipated this matter would have been resolved.”
The email said, “To our valued Customers, Members, and Supporters; The Directors and Management of Sandys 360 regret the circumstances we find ourselves in at this time.
“We did not contact you earlier as we anticipated this matter would have been resolved and we apologize for this late notice. Sandys 360 thanks you for your continued support and will contact you as soon as this matter is resolved.”
The west end facility has been known to be suffering financial difficulties, and in the 2012/13 budget they received a a $2 million Government grant.
Sandys 360 — which opened in 2009 — offers a variety of activities including fitness classes, basketball, a pool, swimming lessons, camps and more.
The amount of the outstanding balance the facility owes to BELCO has not been officially released, however it is unofficially understood to be a substantial amount, with sources indicating it may exceed $300,000.

They should have invested in solar! With such a huge facility to keep cool & a heated pool I am sure financially it would have been extremely beneficial to have installed solar panels.
That would’ve made too much sense! Even their website is poorly designed!
It would have been smarter to have approached BELCO with a Patronage deal during the planning stages. In exchange for unlimited use of the facility by BELCO employees, ….u figured it out yet?
No money left in the pot ,government coffers are dry ,wake up folks your own your own in the real world !
