Slideshow: Bermuda’s Football Jersey Day
On Friday, December 6, 2013, Bermudians were encouraged to wear any football jersey of their choice with a $5 donation for Football Jersey Day. This was a part of a heart healthy fundraising campaign to support Footy Force and The Bermuda Heart Foundation.
All funds that were raised directly benefit Footy Force and The Bermuda Heart Foundation. The funds raised for Footy Force will assist with covering the expenses of player development that are incurred during the year and the funds raised for The Bermuda Heart Foundation will assist with advocating healthy change through awareness, prevention, and education.
Footy Force and the Bermuda Heart Foundation said they would like to extend a big “thank you” to all businesses and participants, including Butterfield & Vallis Ltd., FIL Limited, Amlin, Partner Re, Barritts, Soccer Plus, 27th Century Boutique, Sidekicks, and The Pro Shop.
