Wolves Replaced Due To Over Age Players

Wolves have been removed from the PDL Festive Tournament and replaced with BAA who will face PHC in tonight’s [Dec 30] first semi-finals game at Goose Gosling Field.

A Bermuda Football Association spokesperson said, “Due to Wolves breaching the rules of the PDL Festive Cup; playing too many over-aged players on the field against BAA on Saturday, Dec. 28th; Wolves have been removed from the PDL Festive Tournament and replaced with BAA.”

The Dandy Town Hornets defeated the Devonshire Cougars 2 – 1 in quarter-final action, while X’Road’s defeated the Somerset Trojans 4 – 1 and PHC Zebras emerged victorious 5 – 4 on kicks from the penalty mark after their game with the Southampton Rangers ended 2 – 2.

The schedule for tonight’s PDL Festive Cup Semi-finals follows below:

  • 6.45: PHC vs BAA at Goose Gosling Field [BAA]
  • 9.15pm: X-Roads WFC vs Dandy Town at Goose Gosling Field [BAA]
