The American Airlines flights to/from New York have been cancelled today [Jan 21], however the American Airlines flights scheduled to/from Miami are still set to operate as normal.

The out-bound American Airlines flight #1443 to New York has been cancelled, as as the arriving American Airlines flight #1416.

This appears to be due to the impending weather expected in the New York area, with a winter storm warning in effect for the region.
