Let me guess why “technical problems???? ” that is their excuse every time instead of being honest and saying that now enough passengers on flight to pay for the costs!!

For anyone booked on this flight, remember to claim compensation from BA. Under EU law BA is obligated to pay compensation for delays and cancellations beyond 3 hours for flights to/from the EU for problems arising that are not considered ‘extraordinary circumstances’. This does apply to flights from Bermuda to the UK and there is no harm in submitting a claim!

For cancellations this is equal to €600 per person. This isn’t difficult, all you have to do is submit a claim via that complaints form on the BA website and specify you are seeking compensation under EU regulations.

The only “technical problems” here was the revenue generated by the few people booked was not equal to greater than the expense of coming here, no Government subsidy = less flights coming here, a simple equation
