I would have thought that after eating tons of turkey at Christmas, no one would want to see another bird until Easter. I guess the New Years resolution for getting fit has been forgotten already.

  2. buzz says:

    • Robert says:

      Guess !!

Sssshh, thats the colonels secret recipe. Where are all the people claiming to be concerned about us over health risks? Sandy, Suzie, wait, is that them in line?

      • Sapphire says:

I once saw my doctor in there. He looked guilty as hell-this is the man who tells me to watch my weight, cholesterol, etc. etc. picking himself up a three-piece meal, SMH.

    • Scaoalsy says:

NO comparison Mr. chicken sucks, KFC spicy is the ultimate

    • Ty says:

It’s not that KFC has better chicken than Mr. Chicken….it’s just the nostalgia of eating at a U.S. chain resturant that draws Bermudians to it. We all know what would happen if a McDonald’s opened here.

  3. Nuffin but da Truth says:

oh I bet there is teeth kissing at de biu

  4. Hannah says:

Looks way nicer than it used to. If I ever get a rare craving for grease, I’ll stop by. :)

  5. Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

Did the prices go up..? lots of renovations to pay for…i’m jus’ sayin’

    • Mazumbo says:

No they just payed the workers less after they were scared to fight for their rights! Can’t afford to give you a raise but I’ll spend it on renovations.Fools you’ll never learn!

      • Passive Aggressif says:

@Mazumbo…give it a break. Name one business in Bermuda with BIU union representation that is efficient and not in danger of closing its door. By the way, feel free to name those owned by the BIU itself.

The BIU up until the Otti error was a powerful but fair union that fought for the worker when they were treated wrong. Todays BIU seems to protect the worker even when they are clearly in the wrong, which has tarnished the publics perception of this specific union.

        • Not buying it says:

Esso Bermuda is represented by the union and is not in danger of closing their doors

          • Really? says:

If only you knew the truth. If the years and years and years of attempts to address the issues, I mean “ISSUE” at that place didn’t fall on deaf ears, then surely they would have very visible drama just like the others…..and this isn’t for a lack of the Union actually trying to help in this case for the good. Strikes and all that closing the doors business is a different fish to fry when it comes to essential services like oil companies. Remember, all that glitters isn’t gold……and that’s the truth!

      • Free rashun says:

Its a franchise they cant control the renovations the people who own kfc do smarty pants. Come correct or dont talk at all

        • Not buying it says:

KFC in Bermuda is not a normal/full franchise holder. The decision to renovate would have been made locally

  6. Really says:

    Kentucky fried crack!

  7. TT says:

I hope the food will taste the same! If anything is different, I will cry.

    • Ride says:

Don’t worry. They saved the grease before the renovators got in there.

      LOL!

I’m going to have a taste this month. I’ll let you know.

  8. Free rashun says:

Lol mr chicken fun is done. Kfc is like krabby patty and mr chicken is like chum bucket. Mr chicken owner is gonna try and take kfc secret recipe

  9. ummm says:

    I want McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-a not just KFC :(

    • Next says:

Yes! Can the OBA make this happen. We have Sears and KFC so what’s the problem with having other American franchises. Pizza House in St. David’s needs to kick rocks, bring back McDonalds.

  10. X man says:

It was a big line for greasy KFS – to each his own

  12. swing voter says:

ya’ll hooked on tha flashy red n white taste so blah but guys like David Furbert n Aaron Subair got a better product…ya’ll crazy 2 b lining up for that franchised bull-sh**

  13. Truth is killin' me... says:

“Dirty Bird” rising from the ashes like a Phoenix!!

  14. Matthew says:

If we’re gonna have a big franchise like KFC in Bermuda, right there on Queen Street; it should look th part. It’s great that they re-invented its look. So many people like to hang out there, it needed the renovations. Good look.

  15. Sapphire says:

The upgrades were ordered by KFC headquarters-the design had to be in line with the KFC franchises in North America. The local operators had no choice in the matter if they wanted to keep their franchise license.

  16. Sapphire says:

Not necessarily. Unless it was baked or broiled, which I doubt, it was full of just as much fat as KFC. That’s the mistake people make-they get all superior by saying “I had fish instead of chicken’ when chicken is just as healthy if grilled or baked. It’s all in the way the meat is prepared. Your fish sandwich was probably fried which makes it just as bad as KFC.
