Man Pleads Not Guilty To Damaging Police Car

A 42 year old man pleaded not guilty when he appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [Jan 14] when he faced four charges arising out of an incident in Warwick Parish on 10th January 2014.

Devonshire resident Jay Ming pleaded not guilty to unlawfully damaging a Bermuda Gas and Utility truck’s windscreen; unlawfully damaging the bonnet of a police vehicle by causing damage to the value of $500; making threatening gestures to Police by lunging at them; and resisting arrest.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner set trial for April 2014 and granted Ming $2,000 bail.
