Photos & Results: 2014 KPMG Front Street Mile

Last night [Jan 17], crowds lined the streets of Hamilton for the 2014 KPMG Invitational Front Street Mile, which saw a top field of local and overseas runners contest the races.

Harry Mulenga won the KPMG Front Street Mile Elite race edging out Diriba Yigezu, with time of 4:05.76, while Yigezu clocked 4:05.97. Jordan Chiangama finished third with a time of 4:07.39.

Heather Kampf won the Elite Female race when she crossed the line in a time of 4:44.89, Sarah Brow finished second clocking 4:46.16 and Lauren Hagans finished third recording a time of 4:53.14.

Jade Johnston won the Primary School race when she clocked a time of 5:51.21, while Selah Tuzo finished second crossing the line in 5:55.56 and Tesyah-Mahle Astwood finished third clocking 5:59.74.

Nicholas Pilgrim ran away to victory in the Primary School Boys race with a time of 5:38.93, T’Syi Showers finished second recording a time of 5:51.31 and Kahzi Sealey finished third with a time of 5:54.45.

Ashley Irby clocked a time of 5:27.54 on her way to winning the Middle School Girls race, Messiah Greaves finished second in a time of 5:30.92 and Mikaela Outerbridge finished third with a time of 5:32.23.

Aaron Jacobs was able to hold off Jayden Ming on his way to winning the Middle School Boys race, Jacobs clocked 5:05.25, while Ming recorded a time of 5:10.15. Alex Pilgrim finished third with a time of 5:15.5.

A time of 5:19.74 saw Kyrah Scraders run away with the Senior School Girls race, Quaashie Douglas finished second with a time of 5:36.35 and Jordan Bascome finished third with a time of 5:38.52.

David Darrell ran to victory in the Senior School Boys race when he clocked a time of 4:48.68, Daniel Oatley finished second with a time of 4:58.80 and Tyler Smith finished third with a time of 4:59.45.
