Jason Pugi Joins Allied World Bermuda As VP
Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd announced today [Feb 3] that Jason Pugi has joined Allied World Bermuda as a Vice President, General Casualty.
He will be part of the team led by Patrick Kenahan, Senior Vice President, Bermuda Branch Manager for General Casualty. Last year, Mr. Kenahan brought Kimberly Pursell, Vice President and Michael Watkins, Vice President onboard.
Mr. Kenahan commented, “I am pleased that Jason has joined our team. Our book continues to grow and in order to best serve our trading partners and clients, we needed to expand. Jason understands the specialized needs of this market having spent much of his career underwriting Fortune 500 accounts. I look forward to working with him.”
Prior to joining Allied World Bermuda, Mr. Pugi was a Vice President at AIG in Bermuda in the Cat Excess Department. Before his role at AIG, he was with Chubb Insurance Company of Canada for over a decade holding various underwriting roles, including management of their Energy Practice in Calgary, Alberta Canada and serving as the Canadian Underwriting Manager for the national Risk Management Practice. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree [Honors] from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
