Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photographer To Lecture

February 27, 2014

The Bermuda National Gallery [BNG] and the Honorary Consul of France in Bermuda is getting set to host a remarkable presentation by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Turnley on Tuesday, March 4, starting at 7.00am at Earl Cameron Theatre in City Hall.

A spokesperson said, “Entitled Exposing Humanity, Mr. Turnley’s presentation will take the audience on a powerful photo-journey around the world. This presentation, which has the support and encouragement of many of the island’s social partners, continues the BNG’s agenda of locating the social context of art.

“Turnley’s dedication to observing daily life through his distinctive and unconventional lens has the power to transform perceptions of ourselves and the world around us. Although Mr. Turnley has visited over 90 countries, this is his very first visit to Bermuda.”
