    I hope she is ok!

  2. terry says:

    Me too.
Looks like she is sitting on a yatch.

  3. Come On Man says:

I hope she is OK but the info is very vain IE: Where was she last seen?

  4. terry says:

    Why say that James.
From what I see it could be the deck of a yatch or pierside.

An observation on my part; that’s all.

And we wonder why we are where we are.
    Shalom.

    • spoons says:

What is a yatch Terry? You’ve used that word twice now and I’ve never heard of one. I have, however, heard of a ‘yacht’.

      • 1minute says:

Isn’t that Bermewjan boat with a tall mask to up the sale up on

    • Gecko says:

She was last seen on Hinson’s Island last weekend, bailing a boat. She had a cold and wasn’t planning to go anywhere.

  5. terry says:

    5/6 days and I am a moron.?
    Go figure James.

    • Hurricane says:

I’m going To assume that James called you a moron because of your statement. I wouldn’t go so far as to call you that, but to say that it looks lik she’s sitting on a yacht is odd to say the least. If it looked like she was on a plane, would you ave said “looks like she’s sitting on a plane”. SMH

  6. Hmmm says:

I met this person a number of years ago… She was such a lovely energetic woman. Hope you are OK and are found safe and sound.

  7. concerned says:

    I agree

  8. concerned says:

She looks well to do person, where she last seen at lease that’s a start hope sher ok sure she has family they must be worried sick.

    • Grizz says:

@concerned “she looks well to do person”…WTF..are u serious?!

  9. blessed says:

My Prayers for Marybeth and her family. I met her a long time ago, very pleasant.

  10. TonyB says:

I hope you are OK Marybeth ?

  11. Pat Thomson says:

Praying for Marybeth’s safe return. Dr. Sherwin was a wonderful doctor when we were dealing with him several years ago. I am sad to see this.

    • Joan Cabral says:

Pat, I agree with you. This is so unlike MaryBeth..God…I hope she is Okay.

    • MeHere says:

I thought that was who it was (Dr. S’s wife) but didn’t want to post a comment asking. I hadn’t seen her in years and so wasn’t sure. In that case, let me add my sentiments-she is indeed a very sweet lady. I dealt with her a few times when I saw Dr. S. for an insurance medical and she was super, super nice and bubbly. Dr. S. is also a very wonderful man from my few dealings with him-he has a very nice bedside manner. I do pray that she’s all right.

  12. Sigh Of Relief says:

saw her two days ago green car she looked not like the picture but seen her

    • Bernews says:

That would have been after Saturday, when the police said she was last seen, so if you did see her, can you be sure to contact the Police and let them know the details [where/when etc] please!

  13. Vested says:

I’m not sure what or how it matters that she “looks well to do” or is pictured on a “yatch”, a “yacht” or anything else. Like her social standing somewhat determines your degree of concern or interest. A life is at stake here! Her safety is and should be the paramount concern. Nothing else matters. Nothing else. She is a wife and a mother presumably. I pray to God for the return of this woman to her husband, to her children, to her family and friends at large. I don’t care about her politics, her economic status, her colour, or anything else. Just the family that must be wrenched with grief that she has gone missing. We are praying for you and your family Dr. Sherwin. And know that God hears all prayers.

    • MeHere says:

Agreed! Dr. S. owns a boat called ‘Nasty Medicine’-it’s well known so I’m not giving anything away (I believe he competed in the Newport or some other race on it and it was in the media so it’s not a secret-there’s also a Youtube video of him talking about his boat and the race he competed in). I don’t think it’s anywhere near a yacht and even if it was, what does it matter???

  14. Obadiah!! says:

Hoping she is ok, I will pray for her safe return. And writers please stop the rhetoric at such a sensitive situation. I’m appalled at some of the comment some times, but then again, you can’t fix stupid.

  15. don't believe the hype says:

Why they didn’t say the last place she was seen….. Maybe the person looking for her knows she is far from the place she was last seen….

    • Rich says:

and for the people saying this is “so unlike her”…. need to educate themselves with the truth…She was last seen on Hinsons Island… and the reason why it wasn’t reported sooner is because like I said…. it’s not unlike her…

      • SMH in disgust says:

wow, “Rich”….pretty judgemental aren’t you? Since you are so all-knowing, I don’t suppose it would occur to you that someone else might have had a different experience with this person, than you and thus, a different opinion? If you are a “friend”, and I use the term very loosely,I hope for her sake she has many others with more compassion and understanding than you express, and that they rally around her to help if/when she is found.

      • Tough Love says:

Interesting. I hope that she has willfully gone missing and nothing has happened to her.

  16. TonyB says:

    Any news ?

  17. Ranville Thomas says:

Letting us know where she was last seen might help jug memories or did I miss that?

  18. lady says:

Where was she last seen. I was out and about in town Feb 15. Was not busy at all if that helps. small island, could have been easily spotted.

  19. Eatmywords says:

Are you people crazy? The first few posts are sickening. It’s a photo! Who cares if she was sitting on a yacht to have a photo taken? What is she supposed to look like in a picture? Because she is missing, is her photo supposed to look depressing, oppressed, bounded or tied up? She is missing for God’s sake. As I quote Michael Dunkley………What a waste of F***ing time! I hope she is found soon. To the Sherwins, You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  20. Car Battery says:

    Come home MB.

    • Things that make you... says:

You’re the 6th such person to write something like this, which means, in my opinion, she’s missing because she chooses to be. I truly hope this is a situation that she can return home rather than someone who doesn’t want to be found or go home…
Praying for her safe return, and it should it be needed, may she and her family receive any help they require.

      • Car Battery says:

Things that make you… What’s your point? I just want her to be safe. Perhaps I should have said ‘Be Safe MB’. Is that more to your liking?

Incidentally, praying for her safe return is the same as doing NOTHING!

MB would agree I can assure you.

        • MeHere says:

To be honest ‘Things’ is right. Your comment looks like a plea for her to come home which suggests that she just chooses not to. Why jump down peoples’ throats over an observation that anyone would make. I took the same thing away from your post as s/he did.

          • Car Battery says:

Those of us who know her well are understandably upset. Didn’t mean to jump on anyone but some of the comments above are quite thoughtless. We just want her to be ‘safe & sound’.

  21. Nuffin but da Truth says:

I hope this Lady is found and is safe and well.
Hopefully the Police giving out her Car Make and Reg.Number will help in locating her.

Repeated here:- Green Suzuki Wagon R license plate number 05252.

  22. Stop it says:

Please respect the fact that this family have children that can and I’m sure are reading these comments. Why must we be evil and stupid, the photo that everyone is so hung up on was probably taken out of an album. Have respect and pray that that she is alright. Go do something positive rather than write negative thoughts

    • Eatmywords says:

Thank you ‘Stop it’, some people just love these forums to make personal attacks on each other. Have we become so hateful? SMH

  23. Ann-Marie says:

Praying for my Doc and his family.

  24. terry says:

I had a chat on facebook with a friend about this just after it appeared here on Bernews.
They told me she lived on ‘an island’ near Hamilton.

Thus my comment about the “yatch”.

Then along comes James with his following and labels me a “moron” because I made a spelling mistake. Then comes “Spoons” who corrects all by spelling yacht correctly.

Guess the social media group garner their support by basic slander. That fine.

None of us know the circumstances of this lady’s disappearance.

But calling me a moron is a bit below sea level.

Sad circumstances but we can only await an outcome.

Prayers for the family in their search for answers.

    Shalom.

  25. Hazel says:

Why do people go off the topic, back and forth – have dialogue of unimportant details. This woman is missing and some people find it entertaining to make unnecessary comments which pose no relevance to assisting her being found.

I don’t know this woman but pray for her family and that she is found safe and well.
