Bermuda Actress To Appear On Vampire Diaries
Bermudian actress Lana Young is set to appear in an episode of The Vampire Diaries tonight [Mar 27] on American television network The CW at 9.00pm local time.
Ms. Young began her acting career in Bermuda after leaving the Bermuda High School for Girls. After studying in Canada and the United Kingdom, she eventually settled in the United States, leading to several film and television roles that served to further her career.
According to her official website, those roles include ‘Where’d You Go Bernadette’ with Cate Blanchett, ‘Southpaw’ with Jake Gyllenhaal, a recurring role on OWN’s ‘Greenleaf’, and ‘The Girl on the Train’ with Emily Blunt.
According to IMDB, Ms. Young’s other personal resume entries include roles in “Faux Paws”, “Plan 9″, “Danger. Zombies. Run.”, “Conservative Kink”, and “Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke”, along with voice acting credits in video games such as “FearFighter” and “Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide”.
When she’s not booking acting and voice roles in film, television, and other media, Ms. Young runs an acting school called Lana Young’s Hollywood Theatre Lab in Charlottesville, Virginia, her current city of residence.

CORRECTION: I didn’t graduate from BHS in 1985, I left to finished high school in 1985 and graduated from Ridley College (high school) in 1989.
