Bermudian football superstar Nahki Wells has been named to the Sky Bet Football League Team of the Week for the week of February 24 through March 2 thanks to his standout performance in his club’s 5-0 win over Barnsley this past weekend [Mar 1].

In the second half, Wells set up teammate Adam Hammill, who scored against his former team. In the 56th minute, a penalty was awarded after Nahki Wells took the ball around Barnsley keeper Luke Steele through on goal, and was brought down in the play. Adam Clayton took the penalty and scored the fourth goal of the game.

According to the fantasy team report, “Wells may not have scored in eight matches for Huddersfield but he was easily the stand-out performer in the Terriers’ 5-0 win over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at the weekend. The Bermudan grabbed three assists and also won a penalty, converted by Adam Clayton.”
