Track & Field East, East Central Primary Results
The Bermuda School Sports Federation held the Primary East and East Central Inter-School Sports at the National Sports Center. Young athletes competed for a place in the finals which will take place on Thursday at the Sports Center.
Honor Minors from St. David’s Primary won the Under 9 Girls 200 Meter Dash clocking 36.43, Ayah Mason from Harrington Sound finished second with a time of 37.04 and her school mate Zemira Simons finished third clocking 37.76.
The Under 9 Boys 400 Meter Dash was won by Jannis Roberts who crossed the line in a time of 1:17.10 representing the St. George’s Prep, his schoolmate Gianni Santucci finished second with a time of 1:18.46 and Harrington Sound student Zende Butterfield finished third with a time of 1:21.83.
Roberts also won the Under 9 Boys 800 Meter Run clocking 2:58.16, East End primary student Nigerie Daniels-Ming finished second with a time of 2:59.50 and Aaron Estravit from Harrington Sound finished third with a time of 3:00.05.
