Transported to the hospital? Surely they would have had him checked out at the Lamb Foggo clinic first?
Exactly.
Isn’t the Lamb Foggo a 9-5 clinic? The accident occurred after 7 pm.
So its basically for minor injuries during office hours? Like paper cuts and stubbed toes.
The Clinic is for emergency care after Dr.’s offices are closed and if need be, an ambulance will be called.
It can only deal with minor injuries. For any major or life-threatening injury, you have to go straight to the hospital. So Family Man is right. It is for bumps, bruises, paper cuts, stubbed toes.
From the Lambe Foggo website:
“You might need the Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre if you have a minor illness or injury that needs immediate attention, but is in no way life-threatening and is not likely to need surgery or sophisticated diagnostic equipment. This means something like a bump, bruise, graze, cut, cough, cold or earache.”
Also, it is open from 12 noon to midnight. The motor cyclist didn’t go there because he needed treatment beyond what Lambe-Foggo can provide.
Actually the Lamb Foggo opens weekdays at 4 or 5 til 11. CRAZY….. they want to take it away from the east end but when things like this they should have taken him there. SMH….they say its a waist of money. Well ummm hello…use it. Y take them all the way up to KEMH!!!!! BERMUDA STAND TOGETHER
you don’t know how seriously injured the person was or their condition at the time of the accident come on isnt that why we have the EMS to come to the scene to access the injured party
