This Year’s Beachfest To Be Held At Horseshoe
The Chewstick Foundation announced that the 9th Annual Beachfest Emancipation Celebration will be back at Horseshoe Bay Beach this summer.
A spokesperson said, “After a move to Snorkel Park in the summer of 2013 due to challenges with permits and funding, The Chewstick Foundation is excited to bring the event back to it’s Horseshoe Bay Beach home with the help, and partnership of the Department of Parks.
“Horseshoe Bay Beach will be transformed Thursday, July 31st 2014 for the iconic community celebration that brings people together from a variety of backgrounds and from all over the world.

“The day will also feature a performance by a major international headliner, at this time they remain tightlipped on whom it may be and rumours are swirling. Beachfest 2014 promises to be the greatest Beachfest ever and definitely an event you do not want to miss!

Doubt it. Beachfest actually thought people would follow them away from Horseshoe Bay beach. A some what tradition that some go to the beach for the first day of Cup Match has been around long before and will be around long after beach Fest..Glad it is back where it should be. Who wants to go Snorkle Park anyway??

Good move. Snorkel was a flop last year. Intentions were good on Chews part but it was just a bit too drastic a change for Beachfest loyalists!
Seriously Horseshoe bay was way better before chewstick came and was just as good last year…we didn’t need your stupid stage and the good part we all could drive down the hill and drop our stuff off. We don’t need you come back stay up in snorkel park
