The story said, “Pale pink sand and crystal clear waters make Bermuda’s Horseshoe Bay a must-see spot on the main island’s southern coast. You’re going to want to get there early as the beach does get crowded, though with restaurants and bathroom access, you’ll want to stay the whole day.”

BTA continues to promote Horseshoe Beach and done very little too disperse cruisers across the island. Cruisers leave Dockyard at 9:00am for Horseshoe and are brought back to their ship not later than 2:00pm. Most of the cruisers return to their ship and don’t explore anymore of the island that day. The Tourism website is not user friendly and requires far too much time to find anything and cruisers end up signing up for tours, etc. promoted by the cruise line. The Elle article does say that Horseshoe can get crowded early which can easily be confirmed by reading the “reviews”. BTA needs to spend more time reading the visitor “reviews” of various attractions, sights, transportation, etc. and work at correcting the major complaints visitors have. Zane needs to read the reviews too!
