Bermuda U20 Football Team Named For CFU

The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] has revealed the players and officials comprising the Bermuda Men’s U20 team that will compete in the Caribbean Football Union Under 20 World Cup Qualifiers.

The team departs Bermuda on June 23, 2014. Bermuda has been placed in group 2 and will play against Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe, and host country Dominican Republic. The winners of each group and the two best second placed teams will advance to the final round, set to be held in Trinidad and Tobago from September 12 through September 19, 2014.

The team will include players Detre Bell, William White, Chae Brangman, Justin Corday, Jahquill Hill, Dakai Grant [captain], Zaire Burchall, Rai Simons, Quintonio Lema, Jibri Salaam, Kiuno Cann, Caldre Burgess, Alanzo Parsons, Justin Donawa, Tehvan Tyrell, Jaz Ratteray, Terrance Webb, Chikosi Basden, Calin Maybury, and Mauriq Hill.

Officials will include Mr. Dennis Brown, Mr. Don Vickers, Mr. Keishon Smith, Mr. Mr. Gladwin Richardson, Mr. Mark Wade.”

Bermuda will first face Guadeloupe on June 25 at 2.00pm, followed by a match against the Dominican Republic on June 27 at 4.30pm. Bermuda’s final match will see them take on Antigua and Barbuda on June 29 at 2.00pm.
