Harley Riders To Cruise Bermuda Roadways

The Bermuda Long Riders Motorcycle Club and Association [BLRMCA] will be hosting a Harley Davidson ride on June 21. Bikes and riders will greet guests from their ship at 8.00am in Dockyard before setting off for the day’s ride.

The “RollingTthunder” route will include:

  • 8.15am – Boaz Island Shell to gas up
  • 8.30am – Leave Boaz Island and head to Southampton Lighthouse
  • 9.45am – Leave Lighthouse and go to Horseshoe Bay Beach
  • 10.30am – Leave Horseshoe Bay and go to St. Georges via South Shore
  • 11.15am – St. George’s Square – Meet the Mayor
  • 12.15pm – Leave St. Georges and head to Gombey’s at Clear Water Beach for lunch
  • 2.00pm – Leave Clear Water – Ride back to Dockyard without any stops
  • 3.00pm – Arrive at Dockyard

Members of the ETA Motorcycle Cruising Club ride through Bermuda on April 26, 2014:

A spokesperson said, “Please note that the route is subject to change on the day of the event. Rides are cancelled due to inclement weather.

“While we have many locals who enjoy seeing the bikes ride through, we ask the public to please help us to enjoy a safe ride by not cutting into the ride, and allowing the escort to ride through. Please do not try to join in the ride with the Harleys; this can become dangerous as this is their first time driving on our roadways.”
