Summer Splash Discounts & Ticket Giveaway
The upcoming Cup Match Summer Splash 2014 in the City of Hamilton is set to feature concert lineups including Tarrus Riley and Machel Montano and, thanks to an exclusive promotion by Bernews in conjunction with the promoters of Cupmatch Summer Splash, teens and parents will be able to see both shows at discounted prices – or even for free.
Tickets for teens under 14-years-old will be only $35 each to see Tarrus Rilet on July 26 and $40 each to see Machel Montano on July 30. Only 200 of these specially-priced tickets will be made available.
As part of the promotion, Bernews will be giving away a pair of teen/parent tickets for each concert! Simply leave a comment below or retweet us on Twitter to enter the draw. Winners will be chosen randomly from among all entrants on the night of July 24, with the winners notified immediately. All entrants must be either a teen under the age of 14, or an adult with a teen that age to attend the concert with.
A spokesperson for the event said, “We realize that Taurus Riley and Machel Montano are well-loved by all demographics in Bermuda and this is a chance for parents to attend both shows with their teenagers and bond.”
“Teens and parents will have access to the main concert via a separate line, with all teens required to wear a clearly marked wristband for added safety.
“On Saturday, July 26, the One Love One Life concert will be headlined by Tarrus Riley and the Black Soil band. Joining Tarrus will be Mr. Dean Fraser, world class saxophonist. Also returning to Bermuda is reggae legend Luciano, one of the most in demand Jamaican entertainers. The One Love One Life concert will have a surprise guest artist, who will be announced shortly.
“The culmination of Cup Match Summer Splash is Wednesday, July 30. Headlining Cup Match Eve, all the way from Trinidad, the King of Soca, Machel Montano and the HD family. Special guests performing with Machel will be Patrice Roberts, Farmer Nappy and host DJ Young Chow of Hot 97 NYC.”

Wow I gave up all hope of going to see Machel but this gives me hope.
My choices were pay for a ticket or go without a microwave and fan for another month. Well my priorities are in check and the microwave and fan it is. Hopefully my children will appreciate the sacrifice of me giving up the one thing I really wanted to do this cupmatch so that they are comfortable.
