Y.A.O Baseball All-Stars To Travel Overseas
This year’s group of 2014 Y.A.O Baseball Bermuda Cal Ripken [10-12 year olds] All-Stars will be traveling to Marlboro Massachusetts from July 6th-14th to play 6 games against teams in the Greater Boston area [Hudson, Marlboro, Westford, Burlington and a doubleheader against Littleton].
The team is led by Head Coach Damian Resnik, General Manager and Assistant Coach Paul Martin and Assistant Coach Daniel Bordage. This year’s team has been practicing on Sundays and a few Friday nights, for the past 8 weeks and every evening since the conclusion of the YAO regular season on June 22nd.
The team played two exhibition games against the 2013 All Stars going 1-1 and we thank Coach Pat Neal and the kids for coming back to help out this year’s team. The 2014 team has worked very hard and is looking forward to the challenge in the coming week.
The team is led by Captain Jackson Spurling [Outfield] and includes Nasje Brokington [Pitcher & Outfield], Jack Martin [Pitcher & 2nd base], Nic Martin [Pitcher & Short Stop], Alex Bordage [Pitcher, Catcher & 1st base], Dariyon Davis [Outfield], Peter Silvester [Catcher & Outfield], Connor Somerville [Catcher, 1st base & Outfield], Finlay Turnbull [Pitcher, 1st base & Short Stop], Kaelin Paynter [Outfield, 2nd & 3rd base] and Sam Resnik [Pitcher & 3rd base].
