Bermuda Women’s Hockey Team Drops Match

hoc140807The Bermuda Women’s National Hockey team continued their preparations for the 2014 Central American and Caribbean [CAC] Games in Mexico when they recently took on the Susquehanna University at the National Sports Center, falling 2-1 to the Susquehanna squad.

Susquehanna University got on the scoreboard first in the 11th minute thanks to a Lauren Cram field goal, and that lead was doubled in the 27th minute when Kathy Millet scored from a penalty corner.

Jasmine Patterson would pull Bermuda within one when she scored a field goal in the 32nd minute, but neither team could beat the other’s goalkeeper from that point on, and the game finished at a score of 2-1 for Susquehanna University.

The CAC Games are set to be held from November 14-30, 2014
