Endurance Launches Global Marine, Energy Unit
Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. confirmed that Mr. Adrian Poxon has joined the company this week to launch a global marine and energy reinsurance business.
Mr. Poxon has more than twenty-five years of experience in the marine and offshore markets and has held senior roles at insurers, reinsurers and brokers. As Global Head of Marine & Energy, Mr. Poxon reports to Peter Mills, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Specialty Reinsurance and is joined by Reinier Jansen, Deputy Head of Marine & Energy and two Senior Underwriters, Matthias Wisotzki and Stephan Schrecke. The team is located in Endurance’s Zurich office.

Mr. Poxon joined Endurance from PartnerRe where he was Head of Marine and Offshore Energy for the past seven years. Prior to that, he held a similar role for Gerling in the U.K. for five years and was with several London market brokers and insurers earlier in his career.
