Photos: 2014 Around The Island Powerboat Race

Crowds of people packed the shorelines on Sunday afternoon [Aug 17] as the 2014 Around the Island Powerboat Race took place, with sponsor Rubis putting up a $10,000 purse for the event. Chris Warboys and Steve Sherwin in A30 topped the A Class in a time of 1.28.18, David Selley and Jordan Fletcher in B8 won the B Class in a time of 57.23, Steven Eversley and Brandon Franks in D187 finished in 51.53 to take the D Class, while Philip Correia and Joe Viera in PX15 recorded a time of 40.55.
