Robinson, Wright, Hollis Awarded Scholarships
Validus Holdings, Ltd., in partnership with the Association of Bermuda International Companies [ABIC], the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies [BFIS] and Knowledge Quest, is sponsoring three scholarships aimed at developing Bermuda’s future professionals, and is thrilled to announce this year’s recipients.
Carmela Robinson is the recipient of the ABIC Scholarship, which provides scholarships to Bermudian students who are pursuing higher education at accredited four-year, degree-granting colleges and universities. Carmela will be attending Temple University to study Insurance and Risk Management.

Chris Wright has been awarded the BFIS Scholarship, offered to students planning to pursue a career in the insurance industry who are studying for their undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited overseas university. Chris attends Lancaster University and is studying Business Economics.
Shane Hollis has received the Knowledge Quest Scholarship, awarded to Bermudian students to study abroad and supports several fields of study ranging from business administration to architecture to environmental studies. Shane attends Georgia State University and is studying Actuarial Science.
