How on earth does that happen on that stretch of road without speed being involved?? It’s not raining…
Okay – every body gonna hate me for saying this, but it has to be said. This type of incident seems to be happening on a daily basis.
Honestly, I don’t care about any people in the vehicle (apparently the driver did not care so why should I?). I care about the rest of us who may be have been in the path of this uncontrolled vehicle.
@ Sammy, and you really think you needed to say that? Why don’t you say what your really thinking. OMG you sound like an evil person.
I am certainly not evil – I am a realist, living in the real world. Apparently you are living loo-loo-land thinking all these road incidents are a result of mechanical devils… dream on.
Frankly, Sammy, I think most of these accident are a result of people being irresponsible and stupid, but I would never go as far as to say that I don’t care about any people in the vehicles when I don’t know if there were innocent children or babies in the car would be evil. SMH
You just contradicted yourself… stupid, irresponsible – and you want to threaten my life with dangerous driving (and I say LACK of skills)… then sorry, that person doesn’t care about any body’s life, so why should I care about theirs?
Sorry… “and they want to threaten my life…”, not directed at you H.
Hurricane, what do you expect these people to say or think.
this island is being white washed with these evil people
I got you on that @Paul. I don’t even know why I bother. I would hope that when they have nothing good to say them “say nothing”.
Ah. I see what you did there. It’s ok for you though, isn’t it.
100% agree @ Sammy
Was the Wacka Flocka Boat Pilot Driving? Let me get serious. I hope and pray the person is ok.
In many countries these cars are not allowed as the centre of gravity is very poor, however, they don’t flip upside down like this without speeding!
In many countries it is culturally unacceptable to drive like an idiot.
Was u their j??? How u kno wat happend
Pay IT no attention @ Real Talk
Creamy, you must never travel…..
You are talking nonsense We Are Not Amused – this is a Peugeot Partner van! There are tons of them and the Renault Kangoo/Citroen Berlingo in Bermuda as well as the UK and Europe! The US has a larger Ford equivalent – would that be the case if they were so prone to rolling over as you suggest?!
Second one today. Whats going on!!
Have a Google for “low speed car flip” & see that speed isn’t needed to flip a car. Take a look at the front passengers wheel & you’ll see the point of collision, this is the perfect impact point to flip a car.
Bulls***!

At least here we would stop and help
Second over turned vehicle for the day! The other was a taxi Mangrove Bay after 3 pm… Hope all persons involved are alright..
Another one of Bermuda’s infamous ‘medical issues’?
Let’s see. Another driver who inexplicably ‘blacked out’?
Any good Police person could see that the Driver was doing a bit more than 20mph. – but there’s no radar proof.
There has been a Car turned over every Mounth in the last 3 years.
You have to blame the Drivers.- these same types of incidents have a tendency of Killing people.
I hope the Driver any anyone else involed have a speedy recovery.
Wow. This is so crazy. There was also a car overturned in Somerset yesterday, around 4.30. We all need to slow down Bermuda!
No airbag? Hope the driver recovers without huge medical bills.
How to stop Tailgating. Plan “A”
Yesterday a taxi was tailgating me or harassing me,
they do that because they think they own the road, this happened on the long stretch of road at Warwick long bay heading West with the sun in my face.
I put on my flasher pulled over and came to a complete stop.
The taxi was so close that he had difficulty in passing .
I just saved $4,500 in repair bill including the inconvenience and time wasting for a lot of people.
WARNING.
Do not pull that trick on a corner because that is not nice.
Plan “B” for tail gating bikes.
Always let them over take because it is better to have the idiot in front of you where you can see him than behind you where you cant see him.
Some do not drive by the 2 second rule.
Actually if you are being totally technical about it, the driver behind you will be responsible for the damage if they hit you. If they are in front of you and you collide then it’s your fault and you will have to pay. So it’s best to either pull over and let them pass or just ignore them and let them be gribble back there. Life’s too short to worry about people who want to be miserable.
The driver was luck that the vehicle did not catch fire with Him/ Her in it.
Looks like BDA’s road users are getting “crazier” by the week!!! Take their licenses – fine them heavily – “double” their insurance premium and if that does NOT work… Then throw them in the “pokey” for a few weeks!!
Maybe Bermuda should start importing cars with a second set of wheels on the top????
GOD is good because my sister fell asleep on the wheel and hit the wall at which point she tried to avoid hitting anyone else so she chose to stop the car by hitting the wall again but apparently her brake didn’t work at that point hence van flipped 3 times…by the grace of GOD she is alive and thank you all for all your well wishes. I said to her that good thing she went to church the day before! lol she even had a spare container of gas in the back so surely she was protected by the grace of GOD…Have a good day everyone, and know that Jesus loves you! :0)
Bermudians may be a giving people but damn we are so judgmental! Why do we think speed is behind every accident? We prosecute people before knowing anything! I saw the vehicle, and it’s a miracle this woman survived! Neighbor, I wish you well!
How did the car end-up *UPSIDE DOWN* if NO one did anything wrong??? Not rocket science!!!
So she mysteriously blacked out and fell asleep, and then after hitting the wall she realised her brakes didn’t work?
Riiiight.
WOW – collided with a curb – that takes real talent.
I thought those vehicles are not classified as passenger cars?
“THE TWO SECOND RULE.”
for bike and car.
This Recommendation is not a substitute for due care.
Here is a recommendation which may save or avoid colliding with the vehicle in front of you, assuming that your vehicle is in good running order. it is called ” The two second rule.”
or one Mississippi two Mississippi = 2 seconds.
This time / distance formula works for all speeds provided that vehicle “A” in front of you is traveling at the same speed as you Vehicle “B” are, and the road is free of oil and water etc.
The Formula …….
Vehicle “A” passes a B.E.L.Co pole.
Count of 2 seconds.
If you Vehicle “B” Pass the same B.E.L.Co pole with in the two seconds you are driving too close and more than likely you will have “a pile up” collision front and rear.
During bad weather conditions increase the time count.
However, you may have created space for a vehicle “C” to overtake you and slip into that space, your recourse, is to re apply the two second rule.
The life you save may be your own.
It is always better to have the psychopath in front of you.
DO NOT LET THEM PUSH YOU , Put on your flashers to show a pending emergency.
Flip a car on a dead straight road. Takes some talent.
Yes, cars can roll over at slow speeds. Saw a taxi leaving the airport a few years ago, front passenger wheel hit the curb and over it went. Not a top-heavy vehicle, or traveling fast.
You guys are just so dumb and retarted!! Think of things before you bermudians sa sonething please your making yourselves look dumb!!
