Cricket T20: St. David’s & Willow Cuts Win

In this weekend’s cricket action, Willow Cuts defeated Tuff Dogs, St. David’s defeated Flatt’s Victoria, while St. George’s did not show up for their matches against Cleveland County and Bailey’s Bay.

Willow Cuts Win by 3 Wickets: Tuff Dogs 129/7 Willow Cuts 130/7

At the Somerset Cricket Club, Tuff Dogs won the toss and elected to bat, and scored 129/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Mike Corday batted the Tuff Dogs 20 overs scoring 42 not out, while Terence Corday added 23. Kavon Fubler was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 4-0-21-4.

In reply Willow Cuts scored 130/7 in 17.4 overs, Joseph Basden was their top scorer with 26, while Fubler added 21. Indika Perera led the Tuff Dogs bowling attack returning figures of 4-0-29-3.

St. David’s Win by 61 Runs: St. David’s 172/8 Flatt’s Victoria 111/8

At Lord’s in St. David’s, St. David’s won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 172/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Justin Pitcher was the top scorer with 51, while Kijuan Franks returned bowling figures of 4-0-45-3 to lead Flatt’s Victoria’s bowling attack.

In reply Flatt’s Victoria could only manage 111/8 in their 20 overs, Reggie Baker was their top scorer with 52 not out, while Ricky Foggo returned bowling figures of 2-0-17-3 for the St. David’s Cricket Club.

No Match: St. George’s vs. Cleveland County

St. George’s Cricket Club failed to show for their matches against Cleveland County and Bailey’s Bay at the Sea Breeze Oval.
