Cleveland County, Southampton Rangers, Willow Cuts, St. David’s Cricket Club and Somerset Cricket Club all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier-First Division play-off cricket action and Lindo’s Twenty20 cricket matches.
Premier-First Division Play-Off: Cleveland County Remain in the Premier Division
Cleveland County Win by 6 Wickets: Western Stars 148 Cleveland County 149/4
At St. John’s Field, Western Stars batted first in this Promotion Play-Off Match and they were bowled all out for 148 in 40 overs. Clay Darrell was the top scorer with 38, while Brian Hall added 24, Peter Philpott was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers returning figures of 5-1-7-3, while captain Allan Douglas Jr. bowled 10-0-45-3.
In reply Cleveland County scored 149/4 in 29.1 overs, Douglas Jr. was the top scorer with 44, while Treadwell Gibbons added 42. Rohaan Davis was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 2.1-1-6-1 and Naquan Smith had figures of 3-1-7-1.

At the White Hill Field, the Southampton Rangers won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 148/7 in their allotted 20 overs with James Celestine and Dion Stovall both scoring 46, while Jamaine Salaam was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 4-1-20-4.
In reply the Somerset Bridge were bowled all out for 40, Noel Woods was the top scorer with 11, Ryan Belboda was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 3-1-4-3 and Vernon Eve bowled 4-0-17-3.
Willow Cuts Win by 72 Runs: Willow Cuts 218/4 Somerset Cricket Club 146/6
Deunte Darrell batting for Willow CutsAt the Somerset Cricket Club Willow Cuts batted first and scored 218/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Deunte Darrell was the top scorer with 115, while Ricardo Brangman added 67. Jacobi Robinson was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-23-2.
In reply the Somerset Cricket Club could only manage 146/6, Christian Gibbons was the top scorer with 34 not out, while Greg Maybury added 33 not out. Darrell led the Willow Cuts bowling attack with figures of 3-0-22-2.
St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 9 Wickets: Devonshire Recreation Club 32 St. David’s Cricket Club 36/1
At Lord’s in St. David’s, Devonshire Recreation Club showed up with only 9 men and paid the price as they were bowled all out for 32, Kenny Phillips was their top scorer with 19, while Ruddell Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-1-12-5.
In reply Sammy Robinson was on 11 not out when St. David’s Cricket Club reached their target scoring 36/1.
Somerset Cricket Club Win by 7 Wickets: PHC 61 Somerset Cricket Club 67/3
PHC showed up with only 8 men and paid the price as they were bowled all out for 61, Elsworth Bean was the top scorer with 17, Kwasi James led the Somerset Cricket Club bowling attack with figures of 3-1-3-3.
In reply Jordan DeSilva scored 35 not out as the Somerset Cricket Club scored 67/3, Jahkari Hollis led the PHC bowling attack with figures of 3-0-38-2.
