Photos: Fay Leaves Mark Across Bermuda
The severe weather conditions abated, but Tropical Storm Fay left a swath of destruction across Bermuda before making its way out to sea, with flooding, downed light poles and trees, and other forms of damage visible across the island.
Despite the best efforts of BELCO crews, thousands of customers remain without power today, with a total of 27,488 left in the dark following the storm’s peak, and multiple schools across the island have canceled classes today [Oct 13].
