Traffic Diversion: Serpentine & Pitts Bay Road
[Updated] “Motorists are advised to avoid the Serpentine Road, Pitts Bay Road Pembroke area and use alternative routes until further notice as BELCO personnel work to repair downed electrical wires,” a police spokesperson said at 3.30pm today [Oct 30].
“An update will be provided as soon as normal traffic flow can resume in the Serpentine Road, Pitts Bay Road area.”
Update 5.56pm: The police said, “The Serpentine Road, Pitts Bay Road and Cemetery Road Pembroke area has since been cleared of downed electrical wires from earlier this afternoon.
“However, motorists are urged to exercise caution while traveling in the immediate area as utility crews complete some remedial work.”
